If you consistently travel with a group of 25 or more people, you are entitled to discounts at most resorts. Whitewood Ski Tours can customize packages so that group leaders ski and travel for free. Our standard agreement offers one free trip for every nineteen people, but can be altered according to specifics of your group.
Groups will usually find the best prices and most ideal availability in January, as well as pre-Christmas and late season. In order to confirm the best airfare for a large group, being flexible with travel dates is essential. Flying Monday through Thursday will usually get groups the best airfare.
Many of our groups choose to charter a bus from their city to the destination. We use a variety of bus lines, which provide a low cost alternative to flying. Often times, a charter bus is a cost saving alternative to per person ground transfers from the airport, depending on the size of your group, as well as your arrival and departure schedules.
In order to hold a large block of lodging or air space, be prepared to pay deposits that may only be partially refundable. The following is a typical deposit schedule for group ski vacations:
Initial Deposit (Due immediately to secure space)
$200-$300 per condo or 1-2 nights rent
$50 per air seat
Second Payment (Typically due 75 days prior to arrival)
Half of your total balance
Your Cancellation Penalties will also be more severe beyond this point
Final Payment (Typically due 45 days prior to arrival)

Whitewood Ski Tours will work with your group to optimize your payment schedule, depending on your group's needs.Be aware that cancellation penalties do exist in the event you do not fill all of the group space you initially booked. We will work with you to minimize penalties, but cannot guarantee that penalties will be avoided in the event of a cancellation. Typically, dropping space sooner than later will help minimize any potential cancellation penalties.
